How to Apply Custom Decals

HOW TO APPLY YOUR CUSTOM DECAL

No experience needed. Follow these steps for a clean, bubble-free finish.

Works on cars, trucks, windows, laptops, tumblers, and most other clean, flat surfaces.

  1. Clean the surface. Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol or soap and water. Let it dry completely. Any dust, grease, or moisture will keep the decal from sticking properly.
  2. Peel and position. Peel the backing paper away, keeping the decal on its transfer tape. Line it up carefully before you press down. Take your time here; you won't get a second shot at the placement.
  3. Apply with a squeegee (or card). Start from the center and press outward in firm, even strokes. This pushes out air bubbles and sets the decal in place.
  4. Peel off the transfer tape. Pull the tape back slowly at a low angle. Go slow enough that only the tape lifts, and the decal stays put.
  5. Smooth it out. Go over the decal once more by hand or with the squeegee to seal every edge.

For best results, apply in a shaded spot between 50–90°F, and skip washing the surface for 48 hours so the adhesive fully bonds.
